Elder Law by Tina Marie Soriano : Introduction

Introduction

Welcome to the world of Elder Law. Some of our most treasured people in our lives are our grandparents and great-grandparents.  But who takes care of them?  Who looks out for them? Who pays their bills?  Do they do it themselves?

It always seemed to me that when I was younger, the adults had all the answers.  They took care of us. Taught us.  Led the way.  But as we become the self-sufficient adults and our elders become more dependent who is to lead the way and teach them how to assimilate with the ever advancing and changing world we live in now?

Elder law pertains to the individual and their family. The practice of law spans from family law, tax law, health-care law, property law & employment law but the buck does not stop there.

Join me in a brief over view of the good, the bad, and the ugly of aging in our world today!
