For the states that require clergy to report suspected child abuse, it is important to know the regulations set forth by the agencies that oversee child welfare or family services. Each statute establishing who has a duty to report has a coinciding regulation. This section includes a link to the agency that enforces the reporting as well as regulations by a few different states.
The Children's Bureau is an office of the Administration for Children and Families. Its Mission Statement Reads:
