Whitehead, Daniel: Biography

Art, Artifact, Architecture, and Museum Law

Biography-Daniel Whitehead

Hello, my name is Daniel Whitehead and I am the author of this site. This site is a pathfinder for beginning legal research in the interdisciplinary field of art law. I am a law student at Ave Maria School of Law. I am a member of the law school's moot court team and, relevantly, I participate in the only art law moot court competition in the world: the National Cultural Heritage Moot Court Competition hosted by DePaul University's College of Law. Also, significantly, I studied Latin, Ancient Greek, and literature at Ave Maria University, which is where I inculcated my interest in the arts.

START HERE: Tips for Using this Pathfinder

It shouldn't come as a surprise that the interdisciplinary world of art law would spur significant research and the production of practical and scholarly resources. One can become quickly overwhelmed by the ponderous amounts of information just a few 'clicks' away. This research guide, or pathfinder, should provide multiple avenues for uncovering appropriate information in a timely manner.

Under each tab (above) will be found a variety of links, documents, search tips, and other compilations. Where actual documents are not directly uploaded to this guide, sufficient cites and links should allow the user to directly download such documents from the appropriate sources as needed. So please, click away!
