H.R.418 -- Medicare Fraud Enforcement and Prevention Act of 2013 (Introduced in House - IH)

Senate and House lawmakers June 10 introduced anti-fraud legislation (S. 1123; H.R. 2305) designed to increase penalties for Medicare and Medicaid fraud. The legislation also would institute financial penalties for Medicare and Medicaid contractors with elevated error and overpayment rates.
