L NO 106-386, 114 Stat.1464(2000) incorporated in the section of the Trafficking Victim Protection Act (TPVA) known as the battered Immigrant Women Protection Act of 2000, Pub. L. No 106-386, 114 Stat 1518 (2000)During the period that regulations were being formulated many potential U candidates were given interim relief in the form of deferred action and employment authorization.
