Florida Child Support: Pleadings and Forms

Exploring Child Support Laws in Florida

FAMILY LAW FORMS

The Florida State Courts System's Self-Help Center is an online guide directing you through the court system. The role of the self-help center staff is to direct interested individuals to the self-help website where they can explore resources needed to represent themselves, access the courts, and other essential resources. Self-Help staff cannot provide legal interpretations or advice. The self-help website includes family law forms approved by the Florida Supreme Court. Additional resources include a directory of local self-help centers, web links to free and low-cost legal aid, mediator search capabilities, and guardianship resources.

I FILLED OUT THE FORMS, NOW WHAT?

Once your forms are complete, you will need to file them with the Clerk of Court's Office in the appropriate county or online using the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal. The E-Filing Portal website provides eFiling and eRecording capabilities to users with a single statewide login. The Florida Supreme Court mandated the use of the E-Filing Portal on April 1, 2013. The E-Filing Portal allows you to easily file pleadings which are then automatically served to any attorneys of record.
