Introduction to Resolution of Disputes

When there is a dispute between a licensed gaming organization and one of its patrons, each jurisdiction has their own procedures to follow, which includes an initial review by the the respective state's administrative body before proceeding to court. Further, each jurisdiction typically has a minimum amount in controversy threshold the complaint must surpass and other procedures, such as notice requirements, that are common to court proceedings before the review is conducted.
